What is everyday life like for long-distance drivers in terms of their health? On June 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., this question will be the focus of an event organized by the Section on Prevention in Transportation of the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The symposium will take place in Hamburg and online. Contributions from several European countries will address the living conditions of drivers on the road. They will address access to medical care during cross-border journeys. The event will focus on practical examples of international care initiatives, telemedicine solutions, and health protection programs. Participation is possible in person and online. The event languages are German and English (simultaneous translation).
