The focus of the event is on load handling. Despite increasing automation, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling heavy loads is still one of the greatest risk factors for the development of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). National and international experts will give an insight into the current state of studies, discuss suitable measures for the prevention of MSDs and show how one can participate in working life with already existing physical limitations. Examples of good practice will show which measures can be taken to "lighten the load".
The professional exchange should not be neglected: During the breaks and at the concluding get-together, personal contacts can be made and deepened.
